Bring a customizable LED step to your face and body routine with Photonex, a hands-free tunnel that is open at both ends. Choose red light, blue light, or both together for a purple glow. Designed around your routine

Open tunnel design. The freestanding arch holds the LED panels above the selected face or body area, with openings at both ends.
Easy light selection. Use red or blue on its own, or switch both on for purple light. Infrared has a separate setting. Each light control offers four intensity levels plus off.
A timed finish. Set the built-in timer; the light session stops automatically when the selected time ends.
Settings that stay with you. The device saves the selected intensity levels and time for the next use.
Simple storage. Fold the side supports and store Photonex in its fitted carrying case between sessions.

How to Use

Read the full user manual and safety instructions before your first session.

Set up the tunnel. Fully unfold the side supports and place Photonex on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated area. Keep both ends and all ventilation slots clear.
Connect the power. With the rear power switch off, securely connect the supplied adapter to the device and a suitable power outlet. Switch the rear power switch to ON.
Select your light settings. Use R for red, B for blue, or turn on both R and B for purple light. Use IR to control infrared separately. Set each light to level 1–4; 0 turns it off. Leave any light you do not want to use at 0.
Set the timer. Press the timer button to select the session time specified in the manufacturer’s guidance. The timer adjusts in 5-minute increments from 5 to 60 minutes. Check the displayed settings before every session, as previous settings are saved.
Position and begin. Position the selected face or body area beneath the arch, following the manufacturer’s guidance for placement and eye protection. Keep the supports resting on the stable surface. When ready, press Start/Stop to begin.
Finish your session. The light session stops automatically when the timer ends. Press Start/Stop if you need to end it earlier. Switch the rear power switch off and disconnect the adapter after use.

The timer range is a device setting, not a recommended exposure time. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for session duration, frequency, positioning and eye protection. If these instructions are missing or unclear, contact Derma Tech before use.

Understanding the light settings

Red and blue can be used separately or together. When both are on, their light creates a purple glow. Infrared is an additional setting with its own IR button.

Red Light · 630 nmControlled with the R button. Adjust the red LEDs independently.

Blue Light · 423 nmControlled with the B button. Adjust the blue LEDs independently.

Purple Light · Red + Blue TogetherTurn on both R and B to use red and blue LEDs at the same time. The combined light appears purple; no separate purple button is needed.

Infrared · 760 nmControlled with the IR button. This is a separate light setting; the purple glow comes from red and blue.

Controls & session settings

The top panel has R for red, B for blue, IR for infrared, a timer button and Start/Stop. To select the purple combination, turn on both R and B.

Intensity: levels 1–4 for each light control; level 0 turns that light off.
Timer: 5–60 minutes, adjustable in 5-minute increments.
Automatic stop: the session ends when the selected time is complete.
Memory: the selected levels and timer setting are saved for the next session.

Care & storage

Switch off and unplug the device before cleaning or storage. Gently wipe the body and control panel with a soft cloth. Keep water out of the device and store it in a dry place away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight.

Keep the vents clear and do not cover the device during operation. Fold the supports for storage and keep the adapter separate from the device.
